Dorthy has been working with Ghana Christian College for many years both in teaching and library management. She has been instrumental in the success of the college and on-going work of many churches that have been started and sustained by the work she carries on. Ghana Christian College is currently involved in a major building expansion and Dorothy is looking forward to having more library space.

Purpose Statement: Our desire is to help students to know, love, obey, and serve Jesus in order to help others do the same. Matt Boden is the Fellowship Director. They have small groups, retreats, "Knight Life" Bible studies (Christianity for the curious and skeptical), banquets, baptisms and missions trips.

Family Ministries of Florida (formerly Cookson Hills Children's Home), provides a stable home life to many children who are victims of destroyed homes. Family Ministries places these children in a Christian family atmosphere that has helped redeem many broken lives over the years.

Florida Christian College is our state's Bible College . 60% of the cost of FCC student education comes from supporting churches. This allows many young men and women to obtain an excellent Christian education who might otherwise be unable to afford it. FCC's enrollment was 252 this past school year. Florida Haitian Christian Mission
Missionary: Paul Jean-Baptiste
Florida Haitian Christian Mission is a work here in the state of Florida that plants and supports churches among the Haitian American population. The president of this work is Paul Jean-Baptiste who is also an elder at Miami Shores Christian Church. In his last letter Paul said, "Haitian churches are working very hard even in the midst of difficulties because they are fighting Satanism, voodooism, witchcraft and many forms of enemies of the gospel of Christ. Please pray for us."

Mission Founder: Ziden Nutt
Good News Productions has a large media production center in Joplin , Missouri as well as regional centers in key locations around the world. They produce movies and videos on many Bible subjects and in many different languages serving millions of people. They now have projects in Nairobi , Hong Kong , Mexico , the Philippines , the Ukraine , Russia , India , Myanmar and Thailand .

Lake Aurora Christian Camp & Retreat Center

Bill has been the director of Lake Aurora since 1972. The camp is located in Lake Wales , Florida and serves the Christian churches of central Florida . The camp is an extension of the Christian church dedicated to providing meaningful programs in a beautiful outdoor setting. It is a place where youth, adults and families take time to enrich their personal relationship with Christ, fellowship with each other and prepare for service while discovering God's will for their lives.

Dessalines Christian Development
Missionaries: J.J. Joseph & Jean Inera
This Haitian mission supports preachers, sponsors students and helps in building projects. We currently support 18 preachers in 16 different churches with a total attendance of over 1600. The preachers have reported 28 baptisms last year. Mid-Lakes supports two of the 16 preachers, J.J. Joseph and Jean Inera. This work was founded by Hollins Duhon in 1977. The current stateside director is our own Wyburn Osborn.

New Mission Systems International
Missionary: Mike Osborn
New Mission Systems is based in Ft. Myers , Florida . Phil Hudson is the president. The main thrust of New Mission Systems is to move college students and graduates toward mission service. This past summer NMSI sponsored, trained and sent more than 50 interns all over the world. The students that serve with NMSI are not necessarily from Bible colleges. They now serve in Kenya , Zimbabwe , Malawi , Russia , Myanmar , Bulgaria , Honduras and Haiti . Mike is their chief operations officer and field representative for Haiti and Honduras .

Sunshine Christian Homes honors God by providing quality care, in a Christian environment, at an affordable cost to the elderly population. Several members of Mid-Lakes reside at Sunshine, located in Tavares. The ministers here at Mid-Lakes take part in leading worship and preaching during the Sunday afternoon worship services at Sunshine.

Wycliffe Associates
Missionaries: Mickey & Barb White
Wycliffe Associates serve as support personnel for the Wycliffe Bible Translators. This is a very important service to the linguistic missionaries who have spent years and years of preparation and hard work to be able to give the scripture to people groups that do not have a written language. The White's work enables the specialists to spend more of their time focused on the translation work they were trained for while the White's handle administrative duties, logistics and fund raising. The White's trained in Switzerland before going to Africa where they now serve.

Donald Dennis, "Denny"
Denny is currently attending Florida Christian College where he is majoring in counseling/preaching. He expects to graduate in December 2006.
He was born and raised on a large dairy farm in western New York . He spent his life there involved in farming or the building trades and believed he would stay there forever. God, however, had different plans for his life. When diagnosed in 1995 with skin cancer that had spread to his lymph system, Denny was led in a new direction of discovery and meaning. Through all the ups and downs of treatment, he developed a strong desire to do some type of ministry in which he could give back just a little of all the blessings which he had received. Over time this feeling became so strong that it couldn't be ignored, and with his wife Kathy's full blessing and encouragement, they sold everything and moved to Florida . Both Denny and Kathy look forward to where the Lord will lead them next!
